Default MIC50 and MIC90

Dear members,

I am having difficulties to determine the MIC50 and MIC90 for
antibiotic susceptibility test using macrodilution broth method. I
have 12 samples with MIC (mcg/ml) >8.0, 1.7, 1.7, 1.0, 1.0, 1.0, 3.0,
0.7, 0.8, 3.0, and 3.0. Is it correct if I state the MIC50 is 1.7 mcg/
ml and the MIC90 is 8.0 mcg/ml ?

I also need this article that I think it will help me for better
understanding on this chapter.
Calculating MIC50. HAMILTON-MILLER J. Antimicrob. Chemother..1991; 27:
863-864

Thanks in advance and I am looking forward to hearing from you.
